Accounting and Finance Qualifications We Are Approved to Deliver 

TQ UK Level 6 Diploma in Accounting and Finance (RQF)  The TQ UK Diploma in Accounting and Finance (RQF) is regulated by Ofqual.  The purpose of the qualification is to provide an academically challenging, applied programme which encourages learners to critically evaluate current academic concepts, theories and research to address key issues in Accounting and Finance. Learners will develop an understanding of current practice, together with specialist analytical skills and knowledge, to take advantage of opportunities and minimise threats within the current work environment. 

Qualification Structure  Learners must achieve 120 credits from eight mandatory units and one optional unit. 

Qualification Duration  The Guided Learning Hours (GLH) for this qualification is 468 hours, made up from all contact time, guidance or supervision of a learner by a lecturer, supervisor, tutor, trainer or other appropriate provider of education or training. Learners are expected to study and complete aspects of their assessment portfolio in their own time which is expected to be around 732 hours over the cycle of the programme.  This equates to a Total Qualification Time (TQT) of 1200 hours. 

Grading and Assessment  The qualification is assessed by internally set and marked assessments subject to external quality assurance. Where indicted in the unit specifications, assessment must meet the requirements of the identified assessment strategy/principles.  All learning outcomes must be met to achieve a pass - there is no grading.  Download the Full Qualification Summary Below
