Meet The Team
Anne is Director of Learning and Development possessing a passion for people development, supporting people and organisations to release and realise their potential. Anne holds a Master’s Degree in Leadership and Management, specialising in consultancy, and is licensed through the British Psychological Society to administer and interpret psychometric assessments.
In addition to a Post Graduate Certificate in Further Education, Anne holds Qualified Teacher Learning and Skills Status in the UK. Anne also holds a number of vocational-related, competence based management and learning and development qualifications, including internal and external quality assurance.
With professional experience of more than 25 years’ in corporate and tertiary education, learning and development, adult education in the UK and internationally Anne has developed a particular interest in leadership, employee engagement and skills development in the workforce.
Anne has designed, developed and facilitated industry led qualifications and learning solutions across the MENA region. She has supported the development of culturally diverse learning and development teams to encourage the philosophy of the learning organisation.
Anne maintains focus on learner centric growth and the practical application of knowledge and skills as the foundation for organisational success and sustainability. She feels this gives the competitive edge for organisations responsiveness to external and internal forces for change.
Anne has previously received recognition for her services to vocational education and employment; honoured as finalist “Women of Achievement Awards’ in 1996.
Anne has supported workforce development for a number of prominent UK and MENA based organisations, such as Carillion Construction UK, North Yorkshire County Council UK, National Economic Development Board, Libya, Federal Authority for Human Resources, UAE and the Dubai Financial Services Authority, UAE.
Michael is CEO and founder of Leadership-For-Life, and firmly believes leadership is a vocation and a life skill that needs to be nurtured and developed within us all.
This philosophy is central to Michaels’ core beliefs and drives his passion to focus on leadership behaviour first and foremost as the critical success factor for modern day leaders, in any setting, and which has also shaped the focus and content of the workshops L-F-L provide.
Michael holds a Master’s Degree in Education, specialising in Learning and Development, is a qualified business and management coach and licensed through the British Psychological Society to administer and interpret psychometric assessments. In addition to a Post Graduate Diploma in Tertiary Education, Michael holds a number of vocational-related, competence based learning and development qualifications, including strategic and operational management.
Michael’s professional experience spans more than 30 years’ in corporate education, learning and development, and adult education, and during his time in the MENA region has been published in the Gulf News on leadership practices.
His reputation has secured invitations to deliver a number of keynotes on leadership, employee engagement, mindfulness, and happiness and positivity in the workplace. Michael continues to maintain focus on learner centric development and the practical application of knowledge and skills as the foundation for organisational success and sustainability.
While serving in the Royal Air Force Michael received a commendation for services to training through H.M. Queen Elizabeth II birthday honours list in 1993, and in 2016 was awarded Chartered Manager Status through the Chartered Management Institute in the UK, and continues to be a true advocate of Leadership-for-Life.
Billy is a Learning and Development Specialist, who has a passion for developing people and organisations through a ‘hands-on experiential approach’ and engaging with learners and organisations within their own workspace wherever possible. With over 12 years’ experience of designing, delivering and managing work-based training within the military and oil & gas sectors Billy is equally at ease developing and delivering both technical and soft skills training.
Billy has facilitated training in a diverse range of cultures and countries, from UK Armed Forces to Maritime Police & Customs Officers in the Caribbean, Engineers in Libya and Nationalization Training Programmes in the Middle East.
From the beginning of his working life as an Engineering Apprentice in the Royal Navy, ‘Quality’ has been one of Billy’s main work ethics believing firmly that quality does not just happen; it needs to be developed and planned. As such, Billy has worked with organisations to develop robust Quality Systems to ensure the delivery of exceptional outcomes.
